Our Lady of Guadalupe Pro-Life Ministry

Our Lady of Guadalupe Pro-life ministry's mission is to support the spread of the culture of life throughout the parish community through prayer, education, and service. Members of the Committee are dedicated, willing to help where needed and passionate about our mission.  Therefore, we are able to host a variety of prayerful and social events throughout the year. 

• Prayer- We seek the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe with the Holy Spirit to pray for an end to abortion, to increase respect for all human life, and for the conversion and healing for those involved in anti-life activities. 
• Education - We coordinate and support the activities of the Archdiocesan Respect Life Commitee and disseminate information through meetings, bulletins, and announcements. 
• Service - We plan and organize a number of events that promote awareness and raise funds for pro-life organizations. 

Life Chain

• February - Valentines Dinner Dance – Proceeds go to Pregnancy Resource Center 
• May/June – Spring Fling Luncheon to raise funds for Birthright Counseling, St. Louis. Click HERE to RSVP for the Luncheon on June 4th, 2025.
• Baby Shower prior to birth of Spiritually Adopted babies – items go to Pregnancy Resource Centers in St. Louis area

• Pray the rosary in the Abbey Church, weekends after the 7:30 Mass
• 40 Days of Life Campaign - Prayer Vigil at Planned Parenthood
• Prayer vigil near Church on Respect Life Sunday
• Spiritual Adoption Program
• Living Rosary at the Grotto in May and October
• Celebration of Life through the Candlelight Mass of Hope during Respect Life Month (October)
