Grand Endeavor’s mission is to enrich our individual and collective faith by bringing together diverse parishes and communities in prayer and service to and with one another.
This joy-filled group was established nearly twenty years ago, and now serves as a partnership between St. Anselm and Most Holy Trinity (located in north St. Louis city) parishes. Our joint meetings are held monthly and alternate between parish locations.
Many have witnessed the goodness of the Grand Endeavor mission in our joint mass celebration and community brunch which typically aligns with the beginning of each new school year; however an even greater testament to the richness this group’s work comes in visiting the Most Holy Trinity Catholic School and Academy! Most Holy Trinity provides an academically-challenging, Catholic kindergarten – eighth grade education to many children that without your financial assistance, and desire to evoke social change, would be unable to access such a distinguished educational foundation.
MHT doubled its school enrollment over the past three years, and has gone from a graduating class of seven to a graduating class of 28 in 2011, of whom twenty-seven applied and were accepted into some of St Louis’ most challenging high schools, including DeSmet, CBC, Chaminade, St Mary’s, St Elizabeth’s, Rosati Kane, and St Joseph’s.
Most Holy Trinity employs the NativityMiguel model of education – providing nearly 41-hours of instructional time per week for all 5th – 8th grade students, and offers Saturday School opportunities for MHT students at all grade levels.
Grand Endeavor also supports the revitalization and renewal efforts ongoing in MHT Parish through many adult education opportunities, bible reflection groups, and community gatherings. One-hundred percent of your financial support through the parish offertory envelopes assists our Pastoral Associate, Sr. Janice Munier, in her work in these areas.
We invite you to join us for a tour of the church and/or school. Please call Kim Lenz or Mary Goedde to schedule your visit.
You can also visit www.mostholytrinitystl.org to find out more about this wonderful parish.
