Fr. Scheid Players Priest Play

The Archdiocesan Catholic Youth Apostolate and the Fr. William Scheid players will present 1776 on Friday, August 22 at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, August 23 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, August 24 at 3:00 p.m. All performances will be at the Florissant Civic Center. WEST COUNTY DIVORCED CATHOLICS

WCDC invites those separated, divorced and widowed to visit with our support group the second Tuesday of each month at Incarnate Word Church, 13416 Olive Blvd. Please join us May 13 at 6:30 P.M. in the cafeteria.

Our Lady of the Presentation Card Party

2nd Tuesday of each month 8860 Tudor Avenue, Overland, MO We have a card party with lots of prizes and a hand made quilt to be raffled off each month. The cost is $4.00 and you receive a piece of cake, coffee or tea. Hot dogs are available for 50 cents each. Come one come all. We are one of the few church card parties in the area. The card party starts at 11:00 a.m.

The West County Separated, Divorced and Widowed Catholics Group is an organization with a variety of activities for everyone. Choose from grief and recovery support groups, meetings with excellent guest speakers, dinners, trips, bridge, social get-togethers and more. Meetings are held at 7:00 P.M. the second Tuesday of every month at Incarnate Word Church, 13416 Olive Blvd.

Remarriage Preparation

Marriage preparation specifically designed for engaged couples where one or both of the individuals has been married before is offered in our Archdiocese. The programs address the unique situation and diverse needs of couples preparing for a "new marriage." There are two types of programs. One is a mentor program; the other is a class. Natural Family Planning Program

Angels Have Wheels

All Medicare recipients should now be aware that if they suffer from conditions such as arthritis, cardiovascular disease, and respiratory disorders, and have difficulty walking or propelling a standard wheelchair, they may be eligible to receive an electric wheelchair by Medicare. Birthright Needs Volunteers

Birthright Counseling, St. Louis, has an urgent need for receptionists and telephone volunteers at Bridgeton and Brentwood branches, and for receptionists at the new Partnership Center branch to open in March. This new branch will be located in the St. Patrick’s Center building downtown.
