Go beyond the ordinary life in St. Louis to national conferences and retreats. Listed below are just a few of the many opportunities available to Catholic youth: March for Life - every January on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, a march takes place in Washington, D.C. to support Pro-Life and encourage all in our country to Choose Life, CHRISTpower (info & registration) - the last two full weeks of June is an intense service week while living in community at Kenrick Glennon Seminary, Youth Sing Praise - in June teens from all over the USA gather at Our Lady of the Snows to deepen their faith through rehearsing and then performing a religious musical, such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat or Godspell, Life Teen Notre Dame Leadership Conference – in July about 100 teens heading into their junior or senior year of high school spend a week at Notre Dame campus to help them become strong leaders in their Catholic faith and communities, Life Teen Camp at Covecrest – various weeks all summer long for teens in junior high and high school on different weeks. Each week carries a different theme, Teens Encounter Christ – an intense weekend long retreat four times per year geared to bring teens into a close, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, National Catholic Youth Conference – next occurring fall of 2005, a weekend long gathering of teens for various workshops and entertainment all about our Catholic faith, World Youth Day – next one July/August of 2006 in Cologne, Germany, where close to one million teens will gather in a pilgrimage to strengthen one another in faith which culminates in Mass said by the Pope. World Youth Day starts registrations and deposits a year out from the date, Steubenville Youth Conference – an interactive and high-powered weekend that includes nationally renowned speakers and close to 2000 teens from all over the country are in attendance. They take place in various locations around the nation every summer.
