This ministry expands the Christian faith of all the adults of the St. Anselm family. These offerings include scripture study and guest speakers presenting various topics related to faith. They could range in duration from one evening to a series of several weeks in length. The purpose of these catechetical opportunities is to draw the adults of St. Anselm to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. This should result in a correspondingly deeper sense of gratitude for all that God has provided and also a deeper experience of Worship when we gather at Mass.
Throughout the year, programs are developed based on the needs and interests of parish adults. Programs include Archdiocesan sponsored Adult Education programs, Scripture Study, Days of Prayer during Advent and Lent, educational video programs and discussion groups, and Becoming Catholic/the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults).
